I heard that Jerica had an eating disorder and that is how she died. Is this true?

Yes and no. It is true that Jerica suffered for years from bulimia but that is not what killed her. Jerica's mother said she was found dead in her hotel room, from an apparent drug overdose. Most people that knew Jerica had no idea that she suffered from serious insecurity problems and a life long struggle with bulimia. Jerica's weight would fluxuate up and down 10 to 20 pounds throughout the lifespan of her adult career but for the most part Jerica was never really a big girl. Jerica was just over 5 foot tall and at her heaviest probably wasn't 120 pounds and at her smallest, was about 95 pounds.

I met Jerica at a strip club many years ago and I remember her saying something about wanting to be a rock star but my buddy says he remembers it different, that she was dating a rock star. What do you know about this?

Most people didn't know that Jerica spent about $500 a week on music lessons. She very much wanted to be a rock star but saddly nothing ever came of this. As for her dating a rock star, well ... dring the mid '90s Jerica told friends and family back in Houston that she was dating Aldo Nova who was a famous rock star in the 1980's. What is known for sure is that Aldo Nova lives in Montreal and Jerica often performed as a feature dancer in the same area. If they did in fact date, it is likely that is where they met. In fact, the last reported sighting of Jerica was in March of 1999, when it was reported that Jerica had just completed her Canadian tour and returned to Las Vegas.

So did Jerica die a virgin?

No. There are several different reports of Jerica getting married to one person or another. Although I have no specific information about any marriage, there is enough reports of this to assume it to be true.
